  • Approach:

    II use evidence-based therapies that are found to be the best approaches for trauma, grief, and anxiety and depression. I primarily use EMDR therapy and the Flash Technique, which can significantly reduce the emotional intensity of traumatic memories—even in a single session. For anxiety and depression, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

  • Group therapy is a powerful way to heal with others who truly understand. I currently offer:

    Grief Support Groups

    • For those navigating the loss of a loved one or non-death losses (such as divorce, job loss, or life transitions).

    • This is a time-limited weekly or weekend group with specialized exercises designed to help you process your grief (6 weeks at 1 hour/week or a weekend of 6 hours total over two days at 3 hours/day)

    Trauma Recovery Groups (using the Flash Technique - a derivative of EMDR)

    • A supportive space to reduce distress tied to trauma memories and images

    • Can be done in a single day totaling 2 hours and as a group either virtrually or in-person using

    Details:

    • Rate: $50/hour (ask about student discounts)

    • Format: In person (in CA) or virtual (HIPAA-compliant Zoom) in CA, OR, and NV
